Before you choose me, I want you to feel like you know me—like you can be completely comfortable in front of my camera. My goal is to make everything feel natural, so I’m not just a stranger documenting your day, but someone who helps you fully experience and enjoy the moments unfolding behind the scenes.

My name is Mykaela. I’m 27 years old, married to my amazing husband Andrew for nearly 10 years, and together we have two beautiful daughters.

Andrew and I are high school sweethearts. We got married in 2017 and moved to Southern California, where we began our life together while he served in the Marine Corps for 8 years. During that time, photos and videos became so much more than memories to me—they were what helped me hold onto life while he was away, and what I cherished most when he returned home from deployments. That season also sparked my love for the ocean, beach days, and coastal sunsets.

For as long as I can remember, I’ve felt a pull to create something of my own—something meaningful that blends creativity with purpose, while allowing me to be present with my family. Ever After Edits was born from that dream: a way to combine my love for storytelling with content creation, capturing real moments and turning them into lasting memories.

Two years ago, we moved back to our hometown in Colorado to be closer to family, and Andrew began his new career as a firefighter. Being back home, surrounded by the people we love most, has been such a grounding and beautiful new chapter for us.

At the end of the day, I believe it’s the quiet, in-between, once-in-a-lifetime moments that matter most—the ones you never want to forget. It would be my honor to capture those moments for you, so you can relive them again and again for years to come.
